Its growth habit is a bit more cattleya-like than most rupicolous Laelias - the pseudobulbs and leaves are quite large and fleshy and mine isn't strictly unifolate, which makes me query whether it isn't pure species. I don't know enough about the species to tell. I grow it as a lithophyte, but I moved it from its original location as it didn't seem as tolerant of dry conditions as the typical rupicolous Laelias.

Very lovely color and shape. Interesting about it not always being unifoliate.
