Thanks. No it is a standard Cattleya. So far it is not very sprawly and the leaves with pseudo bulbs stand about a foot tall. But definitely not a mini!

Really pretty blooms. Strange that it's only developed a mild scent after being open this long. This species has a reputation for having a very good fragrance. Have you noticed any difference when it's in sunlight?

Thanks. It is actually more fragrant for the last couple days. Not just mild anymore. But it doesn't scent the room or anything. I am keeping it out of bright light hoping the blooms will hold on for the Edmonton Orchid show next weekend so that may be part of it.

Gorgeous, I love the schroederaes. Is this a pure white flower, or does it have a faint tint of colour?

Thanks for looking. It is a pure perfect white. Even tho both parents were pink. One was pale pink and the other medium pink with rose pink striations on the petals and a rose pink lip according to the OrchidWiz descriptions of awarded plants.
