Pot. Hawaiian Prominence 'America'
It's impossible to photograph this orchid. The colors are very dark and almost seem to glow in the sunlight. It blooms at least twice a year. The flowers are a little bigger than they were in the fall.

Beautiful. The photos of this plant posted here encouraged me to buy one at POE this year. It wasn't in bloom (I should have picked up an in-bloom one on my first pass before only beat up blossom were left) but I was holding out hope for the sheath but so far nothing.

I'm not aware of any difference. I grow them just like any other cattleya.

The yellow in the lip really makes this plant pop. Looks like you did a fine job photographing it although the colors are probably not as vivid.
