Amazing plant. It is always making me laugh, this "easy" to grow orchid in Florida that blooms for everyone I know without any care has not bloom yet in my care, and I did try "everything", I swear! :-)

Tommy maybe it hates you now that wasn't nice. Just kidding, is it not amazing how some people have a tough time with something then the next person does well for it.

I do believe we all know how much you put into your orchids, so why, just why is it being stubborn????? nasty it's just being mean.

RIGHT Shannon, I mean, I can make bloom Masdevallias here in Miami! And many others, considered hard to bloom, however this little sucker (and she is NOT so little anymore, more MONSTER) is growing like crazy, roots all over the wooden basket from the plastic pot it was originally potted in, like 50+leaves, huge, getting sun, getting feed, watered, I have this particular one for 4 years already and NOT ONE spike! I got another one from my friend last spring, spiking, she got one for me, one for her, her plant is half size of mine, but her's was blooming like 3 times since, mine ZERO. Brassavola's are really starting to get on my nerves, they have till this fall, and if they won't give me a spike, off they go to be mounted in Doggie park and fight for their live in wild nature:-))))))))))
