Catt. walkeriana fma. flamea 'Tokutsu-S'
It finally bloomed. I knew that going back to metal halide was a good idea.
Grows intermediate under 4 feet from 1000w metal halide. The smell is amazing!
under sunlight
in metal metal halide light.

Gorgeous.
Is the colour difference a photographic difference with different light, or is it a difference due to how it's grown?

Very pretty blooms. And you're right: the flowers of this species smell fantastic. Congratulations on the blooms.

RosieC,
It is the same plant, but picture was taken under different light sources. Like I had said I grow under metal halide. Had been using 8t5's no luck for two years. But with metal halide it has and the rest of my plants have stated to grow at a fast steady pace. I use a bulb that has some red spectrum too. Daytime highs are 28c and nights go down to 18c just by default as the lights turn off.
Happy with this new bloom. I find the cerulean walkeriana's easier to bloom under less light.

Neither pic is of the orchid name provided. It should have stripe/flares full length of the petals the same color as the lip.

Roy, you are untitled to your opinions. I do like this mericlone, the petals are getting bigger. I have seen enough pictures of the clone and colourattopny
