Cattleya Amethystoglossa, 4N
First bloom seedling graced me with 4 flowers, with LOTS of spots. They are a little cramped on the spike, but hopefully that will improve in future bloomings.

C amethystoglossa is one of my most favorite spotties. I'm totally jealous! Wish I had an area to grow the tall bifoliates.

Beautiful! I'm impressed that you were able to grow and bloom that plant. They have a reputation for being difficult. Good job.

Wow! Incredible! I nearly bought this until I discovered how very large these get. Your blooms are just gorgeous!

This one is a first bloom seedling, a good 12" tall. I know that some clones grow very tall (48-60"), so it will be a couple of years before I find out how tall this one will get.

Photos were taken with cell phone, and OB upload demanded that I resize to make smaller. Trying again.

This picture is much better. Out of curiosity, who is the breeder of this one? Or what vendor did you get it from?
