Beautiful bloom for such a small plant.
Thank you!

Ah! Thanks for the tip! I looked up that hybrid, and suspect you may be right! Perhaps a different cultivar ...

Ha! I become more determined when plants are stubborn! I really wanted to see what the flowers on this might look like - don't want to trash, or give away something I might love!

Thanks, James!

I have taken a look at Otaaras, and think you are correct! Thanks for the tip!

Aw, thanks, Nikki!

Hehe - yeah, I've been known to do the same - discard otherwise ok photos due to clutter or something in the background I had been trying to just get a quick pic of this one - had something on the stove, and daylight was diminishing ... I first tried a spot in the bedroom which at times gets good light for orchid pix, but not this time of year, I guess - color was washed out. So, stepped out onto the porch (another spot I have gotten reasonable color accuracy), but, too late in the day for the east facing porch - color still washed out. I know the kitchen gets good light for photos - there's a north facing window there - so, I figured I would just take the pix there, and color was good, just the unfortunate crumbs under the microwave ...
