Hehe - yeah, I've been known to do the same - discard otherwise ok photos due to clutter or something in the background
I had been trying to just get a quick pic of this one - had something on the stove,and daylight was diminishing ... I first tried a spot in the bedroom which at times gets good light for orchid pix, but not this time of year, I guess - color was washed out. So, stepped out onto the porch (another spot I have gotten reasonable color accuracy), but, too late in the day for the east facing porch - color still washed out. I know the kitchen gets good light for photos - there's a north facing window there - so, I figured I would just take the pix there, and color was good, just the unfortunate crumbs under the microwave ...
