Default First Bloom of Cattleya guatemalensis

I got this plant from a local grower. It already had this small cluster of buds which have now bloomed. This natural hybrid can produce very variable flowers and you never know what they will look like until its blooms for you. These flowers are not bad. I was hoping for a little more color from the orange parent though! I do like the dark lip. Hope to get more flowers in the future.

The color is subtle yet powerful at the same time. I like it.

So pretty look like sugar flowers that pastry chefs make so delicate.
