Default More flowers opened

Thanks everyone! I just wanted to post an update. There are two other spikes on the plant and they both bloomed recently. One of them had single large flower, and the other had two slightly smaller ones. The original flower is just starting to go, so I took a picture with all of them (the earlier flower is the one in the back facing away):

Yep. The plant came in a 6" plastic pot in granite chips. It was growing in two directions and both leads were at the edge of the pot. Will repot when the flowers fade and new growth appears.

I just picked up one of these at Lowe's. The new bag babies are in! Hopefully in a couple of years, mine will look as nice as yours.
You're welcome I'm sure it will!
I had recently gotten one of the bagged cattleyas too (Blc George King 'Serendipity'). It's still pretty small, and I really wanted a bigger plants with blooms, so now it has a big sibling to look up to.

Awwww. Well the weather here is nice, but in the summer the combined Florida humidity + heat is quite brutal indeed.
