Very nice! We have pohlitinocoi, bicolor, and harryphillipsii, got them originally mostly just because they're small species but like Subrosa have come to really like them. Ours are flowering now too.

Very nicely presented. Trust your instincts on this....you are doing something right for it to give you blooms. My plant gave me a magnificent display last month and I selfed it to produce pods to flavor ice cream or any deserts.

Very, very nice! I think I need to keep my pohli-tinocoi a little moister, yours clearly likes it.

Any night-time scent to the blooms?
Have you detected any fragrance to the blooms--especially at night? The reason I ask is because over the last few nights when I've gone out to the sunroom on "snail patrol" before going to bed, I've noticed a pungent (no other way to describe it) skunk-like aroma.
At first I thought the smell must have been coming from outdoors, since we had a couple of days of mild weather that allowed me to open most of the windows in the room. But this morning when I went to water the Leptotes bicolor I suddenly discovered the source of the scent. When I realized that a skunk wasn't to blame, it did make me laugh. So I'm curious to learn whether or not the flowers on your Leptotes pohlitinocoi also emit a nighttime fragrance.

No scent from the plant. The neighborhood did have a whiff of skunk a few days ago, however.

I ordered a bunch of them in late Feb, both bicolor & pohlitinocoi (large seedlings from Exotic Orchids), and based on previous good experience, I mounted them all.
All are showing new roots grabbing on to the mounts, and almost all are budded up now. Pohlitinocoi is the first to bloom.

More buds on this one but I doubt they will all be in bloom at the same time. Also, I need to turn it more often, the blooms are all on one side, unlike last year.

So... A vase... On a heating mat. Is there any water in the vase to keep things humid? I just purchased leptotes bicolor and planned to mount it, but this looks like an interesting way to grow it and might be easier for me to do. So beautiful! I even love how it looks in the vase!
