Default cattleya gaskelliana?
I bought this cattleya from a nursery in Fla. The guy has some unusual things time to time. He was not there due to hospitalization. There was not a tag present.

Can you guys help me id it.

Most probably C. gaskelliana, even if the main flowering season here is May.

What kind of culture does this plant prefer and what kind media does it prefer or what media is best for it?

The flower seems to be C gaskelliana v coerulea. Bluish lip & probably very light blue tinge in petals & sepals. Tubular lip with yellow throat.

The typical C gaskelliana is lavender/pink.
