Default Anyone With Experience or Knowledge About Encyclia yauyperiensis

I picked up a nice example of Enc. yauyperiensis today. I know very little about this species, but I couldn't pass it up as it was calling my name. I grow a number of other Encyclia sp.'s and I'm sure it will be very happy growing along side them, but if anyone would like to add any info about the species it would be appreciate!

Anyone With Experience or Knowledge About Encyclia yauyperiensis Female
Default

I looked this up in OrchidWiz. Please note that the correct abbreviation for Encyclia is E. and the correct name of this species is Encyclia [E.] yauaperyensis.

OrchidWiz Extract:

- Bright indirect light
- Warm to hot conditions
- grows at elevations of 400 to 600 meters in subtropical forests.

Good Luck and post pics when it blooms

Perfect! I was searching the name that was on the tag. Nothing was coming up....that explains that! I see now that there is some info out there if you enter the correct name . Thanks for the info!
