Hello! Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of cattleya this is. I got it recently at a show. It has a delicious scent like fruit punch. It is very tiny. Didn't come with a tag. Fingernail for comparison

looks a bit like the 'tiny titan' line in coloration, but really, there is no telling nowdays without a tag....it is just a beautiful little noid....the dealer should have had a tag....enjoy!

Sorry, don't know what it is, but it sure is a nice little thing. Success in ID-ing it. If you find out, let us know, perhaps some of us (me at least) would like to look out for one as well.

I've tried looking, but can't find the exact vendor. It was purchased at the Southern Ontario Orchid Society show in Toronto.

Thanks everyone!

From the leave it looks like a Sophronitis coccinea hybrid.

I have to disagree. In both flower and leaf it looks a lot like C. (S.) cernua, not coccinea. Probably a hybrid. A picture from the front might help, but without some information from the vendor you can probably never be sure.

This is definitely an interesting little flower. Can you post more pics of the flower and the plant itself? Most NoIDs are likely to stay that way forever, but this one seems unique enough that we can probably make a pretty good stab at the lineage.

Hey guys, here's some more pictures, including one from the front. One of the petals is a little curly. Oh well

Thanks for everyone's help

I think the Soph. cernua parent is a good guess. Honestly, I'm at a loss for the other parent though. Especially with only one flower on the spike and a sweet fragrance....
