I have a cattleya hybrid, Lc. Lee Langford x Blc. Fort Watson, that did this a few months ago. Sent out a sheath, had two gorgeous flowers with no leaves. Some suggested that it would put out a leaf later, but I'm still waiting. Now it looks like a green stump where the flowers were and a dried sheath around it.

So far so good, but it's hard to tell because the buds are still in the sheath.

Well, I have to update that this pseudobulb now is dried. But the plant continues growing, and no problem.

I wish that all is ok. Show us the flowers when they open.
