Rhyncholaelia glauca Male
Default Rhyncholaelia glauca

Another desirable Mexican species, especially for its strong fresh perfume at night. There is always only one flower arising from the new bulb, but long lasting and of heavy substance. Give a good draining medium, bright light and warm temps during growth.
In my experience there are clones that flower easily, while others refuse to bloom under my conditions. So you better buy a flowering plant.

Nice! I love the coloration in the back of the throat.

A beauty! I have one of the 'refuse to bloom' versions. Have had it for years and I stubbornly 'refuse to give up.' LOL
