Default Encyclia parkeri

This is a plant that I obtained from a nursery on Maui a couple of years ago. The plant is labeled as a new species from Colombia. The flowers are not very large, measuring 1-1/8 inches horizontally.

Hi Steve. I just gave it the sniff test. There is a slight fragrance--very pleasant scent. Don't you miss Hawaii?

Ha! I miss growing orchids outside all year round, hiking the Koolau's and spearfishing on the Big Island! I have to say, Texas has some pretty amazing outdoor living as well!
