I would definitely buy that cross if I see it for sale. Yours should just keep getting better as it grows larger.

Thanks tucker!
I actually bought this as I was feeling very low (my cat had been missing for a month, and I had just got the news that my very old dog, who was my very best friend, had little time left) - I was in TJ's and there was a Catt! So I bought it hoping it might lift my spirits a little.
That first blooming, and the next, flowers didn't open all the way - I thought it might always bloom that way, but the following 3 bloomings, most, if not all, blooms opened fine (had a couple wonky ones last year).
It has turned out to be quite a nice orchid - has great temperature tolerance, easy grower and bloomer, and I was happy to see so many buds on it this year - and definitely look forward to future bloomings after hearing it should continue to get better!
Thank you for your comments!

Sorry about your cat and dog, I can certainly relate. I am having issues as well. At least you have a nice orchid to see.

Very nice Sonya. Very nice indeed. I love seeing plants that have been taken care of for a few years and re-bloomed. For more upright growth of the pbulbs, try inserting a stake or other blocking item in front of the newly emerging growth. I used to have pics of this technique before my crash. And now I can't find my camera. But I have these 4 x 1 metal name tags that I stick in the edge of the pot to redirect the direction of growth from horizontal to vertical. With my lack 0of space it is imperative I try and keep things growing upright. Sonya, does this have much fragrance and what time of day?

Thanks, Shannon Yes, there's definitely sentimental value to me - I think of them when I look at it...

Thanks James
As this previously stayed outside, I wasn't too concerned about growth every-which-way, but if I want to have it inside, I may need to try your suggestions - thanks
I've only noticed very faint fragrance this year - have to put my nose right in it, and it's still faint then. Of course, I had a cold for a couple of weeks . I'll have to check again, and at various times of day ... Seems that in the past, when it was outside, fragrance was still subtle, but a bit stronger than I have noticed this year...

Thank you, Monika
Yes, it's been 4 years, and I still miss her very much - I adopted a cat (avatar photo) shortly after my dog died, and am now fostering a dog as well.
I had already been growing (or trying to) orchids for a bit before losing my dog and cat, but it definitely helped fill some bleak days afterwards.
Yes, seems we must be "nurturers" - animals, plants - give me something to take care of, please!
