Laelia anceps subsp. anceps Male
Default Laelia anceps subsp. anceps

According to Halbinger and Soto 'Laelias of Mexico' this should be a form representing the variety from the Sierra Madre Oriental. Flowers are very dark rose purple. In its Mexican habitat the flowering season is 2 months earlier than here and Mexicans call it sometimes 'Lily of All Saints'.
