my B.little star has a bloom, this way my 50 cent orchid from lowes last spring, it must be happy under the lights, its only one flower but I hope next time to get more.

Beautiful flower. It must be fragrant. The next blooming cycle will give you more spikes and flowers....the plant is happy and healthy.

I can't smell any thing so I'll have to wait until some body stops by and tells me if it has a fragrant, I seem to have better luck with orchids off the discount table.

I would say the light is bright enough for it to bloom, but not sufficient enough perhaps?

I hope the fragrance kicks in as it is just soooo good! With that said, I was told not all brassavola are scented. go figure!

NYC, your right there not really enough light for it to grow bigger, I will be moving it into more light I just need to make more room for it near the window and with any luck it will grow bigger and give me more blooms.

Mine is in bloom at the moment and it is just loaded!
It grows in the sunny window with no curtain.
