Default Laelia rubescens

The Mexican 'Guarita' prefers a very bright place and moving air on sunny days. It likes to be grown on the dry side in a coarse medium or mounted. Give a long cool bright winter rest. Not picky about temps.
The first one is the common pink 'tipo'. The second one was sold as acuminata, which is considered to be synonymous with rubescens. Also a pure white variety of L. rubescens exists. The yellow L. aurea has recently obtained species rank, and I am desperately searching for a strong one.
