Default Tri-lipped Laelia purpurata

This is a peloric form, repeating the lip pattern in the petals. Very unusual.

Now I'm talking serious: sincerely, I don't like this freak things; if it was only a little bit 'aquinada' it would be better (for my eyes!)
Mauro, this one is the first (and only!) orchid you post that I don't envy!!!

Never heard of a peloric L. purpurata found in the wild, Pheli. It probably came out of a sow.

Unusual, unique, whatever you want to label it, to my eye, it is genuinely fantastic in it's flamboyant individuality. In other words, I like it!

I love pelorics - and this one is fantastic! So beautiful... it almost make me want to get a Laelia! (Only almost, but if I were going to be swayed, it would be because of something like this.)
