Potinara Hawaiian Prominence 'America'
One of my favorite red cattleyas is Potinara Hawaiian Prominence 'America' This brilliant red cattleya grows on a compact plant. It normally blooms with 2-3 flowers. I got this plant from Carmela Orchids.

I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.

I see a lot of Cattleyas at work, so they sometimes lose their allure for me, but this one stands out! Great job, the shape is great and and those colors really pop.
