May I ask what camera you used?
Did you use special lenses/settings?
I like how it picked up red and details. I have a lousy point and shoot camera and trying to find a better one(hopefully not too expensive).

Nothing special just a Sony DSLR alpha 200 with no special lenses. I don't use flash. When the camera wants to use flash (according to the settings) I stop it using flash by stopping the flash rising. Probably not the thing to do but it seems to work for me. I'm no photographer and don't understand cameras. I use picasa to redo the pics. I picked the camera up on ebay for £130 in A1 condition.
