I finally found a big pot for my Cattleya

I'd say go ahead. I don't think the pot is too big. Just as long as you don't let the centre get too soggy, it must be fine. I wouldn't divide it either. I love big plants, but of course that depends of the space you've got.

Thank you all I have been very preoccupied lately so I haven't gotten to this yet. I am hoping later today I will be able to go look for my peanuts.
