you are right.

i had the plant outside, getting some 5 Celcius. and went back to greenhouse when flower was showing up.

the root system is finally developing and finding its way to the cork slab. (after a year!) the plant refused to put out long roots for some reason it just halted after a few cm long. it seems that story has finally changed. so i am guessing the plant is not easy to stablish (under mexican conditions or my greenhouse conditions)

i got this plant a year and a half ago, went heavily backwards but now she is in full recovery. (not a plant for beginners imho).if everything goes right it seems it took me a while to understand what this species needed to thrive.

ithis plant seems to likes intermediate (warmer) temps to encourage vegetative growth, and cold with good light to encourage flowering.

the flower color is quite impressive. so is the size for the species. i guess that 4n on that tag meant just that. on a side note she is also developing a new front so it is likely she will flower again in a month or so.

Antonio.
