Psh. cochleata 'Lazaro' x Psh. cochleata 'SVO' Male
Default Psh. cochleata 'Lazaro' x Psh. cochleata 'SVO'

Hello all , I got this plant from Fred Clarke a few years ago. It is a nice plant, and is a reliable bloomer. Unfortunately, while it was outside in the summer, two pseudobulbs were partially eaten by a rodent! Also some leaf tips are brown and it probably should be repotted. It has four flowers and one bud. Hope you like it .

It's an abbreviation for the genus, the plant has been pulled out of the genus Encyclia, and given a new genus. I don't know what the full genus name is, so I use the abbreviation.

I found out, the name is Prosthechea cochleata.

Getting one of these is on my list for next year! The blooms are so unusual!

Love this one. Four flowers at once is good going, mine usually only has one or two at a time.
