Default First class Cattleya Hardyana

This is my best C. Hardyana of this color. Wonderful large lips and very good shape for this primary cross. Also, sweetly scented!

Mauro, are you into mail-order brides? I might be a little over the hill and the postage rate could be a little high...but I can't figure out any other way to get into that greenhouse of yours...baby dragons not withstanding.

That is the most gorgeous flower I have ever seen!!!!

Please consider my proposal quickly!!!!!

Mauro,
I really like this one. The colors seem really clear and bright and the shape seems really good (not that Im a judge!). I might actually have to pick one of these guys up!! I actually have a few dowiana 'rositas' that are growing like weeds right now. Have you seen any hardyanas (or any other crosses for that matter) with this varietal as a parent? Im curious about how the progeny would turn out.

Steve, I have never seen any cross using 'rosita' as a parent. With orchids its always safe letting an open door but, from my experience, if you cross 'rosita' with warscewiczii in order to make Hardyana the entire progeny would be purple. Rosita has heavy purple in the flowers and that would be decisive for the progeny being purple. On the other hand, crossing 'rosita' with other yellow Cattleya, like Cattleya luteola, would yield some interesting flowers!

these Hardyana's have wonderful lips!! Thanks for sharing.
However, they are all starting to look the same to me. Would you be able to put a pic of each one in one post, side by side for coparison?
