Steve, I have never seen any cross using 'rosita' as a parent. With orchids its always safe letting an open door but, from my experience, if you cross 'rosita' with warscewiczii in order to make Hardyana the entire progeny would be purple. Rosita has heavy purple in the flowers and that would be decisive for the progeny being purple. On the other hand, crossing 'rosita' with other yellow Cattleya, like Cattleya luteola, would yield some interesting flowers!
