Lovely. One of my favorite species too. I think I have 4 or 5 clones now ... obviously I can't resist it.

Thanks, everyone. Steve, I recently acquired another digby (no clonal name on either one). I can't resist it, either. I would love to see pics of your in bloom.

I agree they can take very high light - I read an article whose author had seen them in full sun in habitat - but I think some at least are very tolerant of us humans. I bought my first clone at least 25 years ago (I still have it!) but had no greenhouse at that time, so it had to grow in a south-facing window with an overhang - almost no direct light except in midwinter when that isn't saying much. It still grew and put up a single flower every year.

I found a couple of pictures which I'm attaching to this post - not great pictures, but of 'Mrs. Chase', which was a gift from a friend, and then the no name is of my first clone mentioned above.
