C. George King 'Serendipity'
This was on my wish list and I purchased it in sheath at the local orchid society auction. It has a light citrus scent.

Aww man!! That is really awesome, so regal/elegant looking. I love the colour, the fluffyness, and yellow/purple lip markings. Really well distinguished orchid. Thanks for sharing.

That's beautiful, much nicer than in another photo of this grex that I've seen. I have a seedling of this, now I'm impatient for it to grow up! Luckily it seems to be particularly vigorous and hardy.

Lovely. I bought one recently but it is still too small to bloom. Now I know what they will really look like.

Very pretty! George King has been a hugely successful hybrid.

Some of these are turning out a bit wonky with poor shape I attribute to over cloning. Not yours! It looks like a division of the original awarded plant, just beautiful.

Strangely, I checked my cats after reading this because 'serendipity' rang a bell, and found that I have this plant though I did not know what it looked like. It was one of my rescue orchids from Lowes. The one I rescued was all shriveled up with totally dry roots. Now, the roots are plump and putting out shoots and it has a good eye starting to beef up and grow. It is still a pretty young plant, so I don't see it blooming this year, but maybe I will be surprised. Hope it looks as nice as this one does!
