C. George King 'Serendipity'
This was on my wish list and I purchased it in sheath at the local orchid society auction. It has a light citrus scent.

It's been on my wish list for ages. Yours is gorgeous. So are the photos. Remember them next year for the calendar!

Thanks Rosie! I'll try to remember it.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. Best of luck finding and growing these. AOS said they can bloom twice a year.

This is my favourite cattleya hybrid and I was able to acquire a near blooming size one from Cal Orchid when they were here in Canada (Toronto) back in August. Nice plant with erect medium green pbulbs and thick paddle like leaves. I read somewhere that they can bloom twice a year too. I just can't wait for mine to bloom once.

Probably takes a large plant and perfect culture. I'll be happy if mine reblooms in a year.

Aww man!! That is really awesome, so regal/elegant looking. I love the colour, the fluffyness, and yellow/purple lip markings. Really well distinguished orchid. Thanks for sharing.

That's beautiful, much nicer than in another photo of this grex that I've seen. I have a seedling of this, now I'm impatient for it to grow up! Luckily it seems to be particularly vigorous and hardy.

Lovely. I bought one recently but it is still too small to bloom. Now I know what they will really look like.
