Open this week!

This little thing has been consistently blooming twice a year, summer and winter.
One flower in the summer and two in the winter for some reason.

When I first bought this plant (from Kawamoto), it was growing in two directions. I accidently damaged one of them, but now it is growing in two directions again, and in fact, there is another sheath with two buds growing inside it.

I think that other one will open by the time this current bloom fades.

By the way, I really need to repot this guy. I feel so bad.

Gorgeous blooms....you also have a new spike forming at the background. The leaves are clean and healthy with the correct shade of green.

Yeah, the sheath in the back has at least two (could be three for the first time!) buds developing inside.
This one is the "cleanest" among all cattleyas I have. lol

I just looked it up and it is a beauty!!!

I think I saw that same plant in bloom for auction last year. I started bidding on it, but then the price soon went above my range. lol
