Large beautiful flowers! The colors are just fantastic! They must be very fragrant. Hopefully it blooms again in your care.

Looks like this maxima is living up to its name! And the color makes it look like a rubra type which is not common. Good find!!

, sadly not uncommon , around 15 USD, was one of the "expensive" maximas, however an alba form (collected) can go around 150USD. just for being white.

yes, this plant was collected. clear signs in their leaves, but was already stablished in a very ugly pot filled with tree fern

i have not found those prices, certainly not in ecuagenera haha, ecuagenera has grown to the point of becoming an absolute monopoly ( talked to several people about it,) although there has to be people with small nurseries trying to step up but i dont know them.

thanks, don't think it is a rubra type, but a quite dark one with larger than normal flowers!. and then there is that lip.
