Yes, cshaz! His plants are always beautifully presented and well packed. Thanks for giving me the tip on fertilizer. I do not add fertilizer in the winter time. My plants had little osmocote pellets in their pot, so I'll continue doing that. My plants are potted in chips of perlite, pebbles, or those little round ceramic pellets. I've actually been putting my plants in a bowl of RO water and letting them soak into the pot. I also let them dry out between watering. The other special thing I do for these plants is I have a fan blowing intermittently day and night over their grow area.
I hope your plant blooms. I'm also waiting for my plants to bloom, so I'm hoping WINTER passes quickly!!!

Matt, it is so windy at the balcony that I do not thing I need fan, I am extremely frustrated these days because of all the rain, I did check everything today, I may be loosing again some plants, it is raining again every single day, just all the way to the inner balcony doors, everything soaking wet, it is so so frustrating and making me mad:-(
I will definitely soak only for the winter though:-)
Lets hope for both of us to make them bloom soon:-)

The mix that you use should be special, mine came in it, there are some rocks, some oyster shells, some people use cactus mix as I heard, you can for sure check here on the board, this is my first rupiculous, I really wanted this mini cattleya for quite some time:-)
