Yours is gorgeous--can't wait for mine to bloom!
I repotted my Maikai 'Mayumi' this spring (bought it at an orchid show and it was overgrowing the pot and cascading down the side) and had to cut the roots back pretty severely. It spent the summer on the porch in dappled shade, regular watering (and sometimes extra when it rained) and it grew like a weed. Put it under lights when I brought it in for the winter and it's still growing like mad, with three sheaths coming up.
Given that it's a Brasso-cattleya I hope that it's fragrant--anyone know?

Thanks Monika. Bummer on the fragrance but can't beat the flowers. I keep counting sheaths and know I'll be even worse once I can see buds. You know, I really need to get a non-orchid life....

Sort of like pink leopard--Katy Perry and Lady Gaga would like it (grin).
Love the shape of the flower--more delicate than some of the hybrids in this alliance. Wish it was fragrant, but I guess we can't have everything.
Can't wait for mine to bloom!
