Bl. Maikai x Bc. Fuchs Star
I won this plant in a raffel this past week. It's a cross by James Jeansonne, a local hybridizer and skilled orchid grower. There are 8 flowers about 4" across. The pictures don't do it justice. It's scented day and night. The scent reminds me of Lemon Pledge furniture polish.

He doesn't sell them as far as I know. He has lots of great crosses. He has an Encyclia Darling Jungle that looks like a dark purple Dendrobium spike. REally nice! He should send some off for tissue culture and mass production.
