Blc. Cherise Nishioka 'Hilo Flare'
This is a beautiful butter yellow cattleya with dark magenta flares at the tips of the petals and lip. I obtained this mericlone from Hawaii Hybrids in Hilo, Hawaii. The flowers have a natural horizontal spread of 5 inches. The beauty of the flowers is at its peak just as they open. After a couple of days, the brilliant butter yellow color fades to a light yellow.

This is just stunning. You know, the parrot season started now here in Florida- when at the balcony today there were schools of parrots flying over my head, and this orchids reminds me the colors of some parrots, so vivid! Gorgeous!
