Laeliocatanthe Memoria Timothy Kissoon
Until spring of last year, this was a gorgeous plant, blooming multiple times a year, with a number of blooms per spike ...
Then - gah! During an unexpected, early (April!) heat spell, it got very dehydrated AND burned!
It has been slowly recovering - new growths are still smaller than what they had been pre-disaster
I was happily surprised when I saw buds coming on it! And not too shabby with 4! The plant definitely looks worse for the wear, but the flowers are still lovely Blooms are about 3" across. Keeping my fingers crossed that the sheaths on two newer growths may produce buds as well!
Thanks for looking

Very nice. I also see a bud on a christmas or holiday cactus in the background. So far only two of mine have put buds on. Woohoo for all kinds of flowers

Heat burn sometimes happens. The plant is on a good way.

Sorry that it received heat damage but it's blooming again and the flowers are gorgeous. Hopefully the plant will continue to recover and bloom.
