Thank you all!

I am happy the plant has recovered enough to bloom again - just noticed buds developing in another sheath! I hate how bad the plant itself looks now. And the year previous to the cooking and dehydration, it had seldom been without blooms, but then took a year and a half to recover enough to bloom again... but, looks like it's turned the corner now

Yes Those are some little Christmas cactus cuttings I rooted last year. All of mine (the two bigger ones, and several cuttings) are budding up well now I hope your others get into gear!

thanks Bud

The cooking/dehydration episode happened in spring 2012! So, it's been a year and a half without any blooms til now - but, yeah - must be fairly well recovered - blooms look nice, and there's 4 of them! Plus I see buds in another sheath

Thanks Ron

Seems to have turned the corner now - after being a year and a half with no blooms - there are two growths with sheaths, one of those is getting buds
