Ok, I know for many Cat growers this might not be so exciting, but trust me, I am on the cloud9!!!:

For past 5 years of my growing, I did struggle with Cattlleyas big time, the only ones that ever bloomed for me were the ones I actually got in bloom or with buds! This is the very first Cattleya I did purchase without buds, and after 5 months in my care it gave me 2 gorgeous huge and for me fantastic colored flowers!

Totally beautiful! Congrats on the good growing. I love the lip. It reminds me of a lady who has put on a LOT of bright red lipstick and is flaunting it!

Thanks silken, I love that contrast, it is very light pink with this bright red, really pretty. Actually, when I was buying it I had absolutely no clue what color this is, so it was worth the wait:-) |
