C. Quinquecolor
Currently in bloom, this primary cross of C aclandiae x forbesii bloomed in April and tried again in August but lost the bud to rot in the constant rain.

Very nice! Those late summer rains caused some problems with my orchids also.

Thanks, Tucker85. I lost several cattleya buds, including C Caudebec and even worse, C aclandiae.

Stunning, the color is amazing! And I am with you guys, Miami here, I can not stand the rain anymore, this year it seems like there is nothing else! Thanks to Tucker and re potting all Cats to pebbles or tree fern, I lost this year only one Cattleya in July when it was raining straight for some 2 weeks. And here we go, November and the rain forecast for next 7 days. I was never good with cats till joining OB, and I have one that has big buds just about to open, I hope I won't loose it, it is huge success for me!:-)

Thanks, Tommy, and good luck with your budding catt. I'll look forward to seeing pictures of it in bloom.

Cool looking primary! Too about the excessive rain causing rot issues though.
