As I said before, I don't really like the flashlight colours. Today there was a beautiful sunny day. We call it Golden October, in other countries people say Indian summer. The best time to bring in the wine harvest.
I took the plant outside and took a photo against the blue sky. I really prefer the blue sky as a background, but too often the weather isn't like that here.
I decided to share the Golden October with all people who enjoy it. It's a view from my greenhouse.

Last year we had snow here at the end of october as well - very uncommon. May your orchids provide you with sunshine.
And for loveorchi: It has a mild pleasant fragrance and as a species it flowers once a year in autumn.

Can anyone tell me which orchis of cattleya and laelia can bloom several times within one year?

And how long can this L.maxima bloom? for how many days?
