Thank you for re-cycling this thread by updating it with new pictures. I do that myself--makes for a great story.

Too cool Rocket. As my plants get older the old fungal and bacterial damage gets less and less. The flowers get better each time. This is a nice plant. I really like it. Is it getting hot there yet? Been really hot here. And very dry. I have to water every day.

Very nice plant! What type of media are you using? It looks like rocks and broken pots... Hoe often do you water? Thanks

its mostly dyna rok or dolomite as some have said. dyna rok is the brand and the name of this stuff... I love it for everything. has some bark and charcoal mixed in also. This one gets watered when it gets dry. They like water but they don't like to sit in it for long. If they have the light the air and heat they don't mind the water at all. They just have to use what you give them up in a short span...

These flowers smell great also to. Its an elusive fragrance that you have to dive in like a beee for over and over bec it fades so fast... A very therapeutic type aroma

I was worried all winter long after a few died the 1st week of below 50 outdoors that this was going to be it fir me and my orchids... They have really been a surprise as to how they have responded to such adversity while in my care.

lots of lip on these flowers and they at times get hung up. This n got hung up. Nice color and wonderful shape but not the 1st one Ive seen with the curled up lip. That's why some get awarded an most don't.

I have one more shot here this time.
