Classic primary hybrid, Susanne! I make a point having it in my collection because it reminds me the 80's when I first got myself in this wonderful orchid world. When I saw this hybrid for the first time it was love at first sight. Since then I have it in my collection. Yours is a graceful flower!

I am a complete and total novice in the world of orchids, but I have had a Bc daffodil plant for more than 40 years. It ( or part of it) has traveled with me from Rochester, NY, to Texas and now to Argentina. It has left a trail of offspring in every port and now has a "daughter" in Spain. The problem is, I can't seem to find out its exact cross. Can anyone help me out here?

Well, I finally changed the tag to Bc Daffodil and what happens? They go and change the name!!!

It is now:
Ryn (Rhyncanthe) Daffodil
(Rhyncholaelia glauca x Guarianthe aurantiaca)

cb977,

Many thanks for the information. I think I will stick to calling it "bc".
