Wow!! Nice plant too. Now the conundrum. Do you leave this to become a specimen or try to divide it. Tough choice but needs to be made. Another two seasons and it will have to be made. I just love the color.

I have to divide my plants when they won't fit the windowsills anymore. I would love to be able to let them become big like yours.

I love everything about this one, the flower size, colours and shape, the plant size and habit. Amazing!!! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Thanks for enjoying this one with me and for all the kind comments. My sons send a special thank you. They know you're the reason they get dragged into the grow room less often now. They urge you to keep up the good work
I'm going to post some whole plant pics of this
one, and hope you'll all take a look and weigh in... my grower friend thought it was clean, but I found some more mealybugs. blecch.

The following bit earned me yawns and stares locally, so read at your own risk.

At the same time I got this Slc., Spetrizio posted Sophronitis mantiqueira x L. reginae. L. reginae is one of my favorites, but S. mantiqueira was new to me. The cross is charmingly beautiful. So, of course, I had to have one.

I'd misplaced the tag for the new 'chid. When I found it, I discovered my new plant is a cross of Lc. Beauphylla and Sl. First Fire.
Which is (Lc. Beaufort x L.harpophylla) x (L. esalqueana x S. mantiqueira) Ha! The orchid gods have smiled.

Now I just have to figure out how to get my hands on Spetrizio's plant...

A whole plant shot for peewee and Paul and all who are interested. I should have put something else in for size. It's about 6 1/2" from bottom of the pot to tallest point on plant.
There are others in a another post titled Your advice? Mealybug treatment & rehab for Slc. on the Catt forum. I'd love your input on that one too.

Gracias!

"unwilling victims" -this made me laugh, I can so relate. I'm pretty sure my friends can't tell my orchids from my aloe but they make the appropriate ooo noises at least....Gorgeous Plant also
