Laelia sincorana
Laelia sincorana is a small plant native to the State of Bahia, Brazil. Its vegetative aspect is very similar to Laelia pumila, but smaller and thicker than the latter. Just like pumila, the bud develops protected inside the folded leaf until it is fully formed. Compared to the plant size, the flowers of this species are huge, easily reaching 5.2” across while an adult plant grows the same 5.2” in height.
