EDIT : found the name (thanks to l. mendoza)
it is epidendrum raniferum
Thanks!!!
just head back home from 11 days in the US. and found one of my UNID's epidendrum in bloom,
with pictures in hand, i did a quick research on the web, and it seems like a cristatum, only with several differences:
Flower size is far smaller than the typical species, vegetative aspect is just like any other cristatum with inflorecence coming from the apex of old (recurrent) Pseudobulbs, as well as new Psedubulbs.
Lip , from what i gather there seems to be quite variable. and this one is no exception.
column on my plant is shorter than can be seem, might be some other species that looks like cristatum? or maybe a cristatum itself who wants to have my sunday afternoon ?
plant is collected in mexico. (near oaxaca)
shape: petal segment seems a bit smallish for what i could gather in the web.
i come to you guys for your help, and hopefully have this plant id, and tagged .
