I never thought about the fragrance until I looked to see what the Bc cross was..it is C. walkeriana X Bc. Maikai (B nodosa X C bowringiana). Look at all the fragrance in this plant.

The plant to me smells distinctly of walkeriana..It is wonderful!!!

Thanks you all go get your own and smell it!!!

Wow! That is beautiful!!! And even more so that it smells of roses! That is one great cross, I just love all of the species in this cross! I may just have to find me one of them!

...This is an easy to grow plant by any orchid standards of ease to grow. Given enough light and you dont drowned it too much, it will bloom. I dont know why we dont see more of them. The flowers shape is really nice, the smell is great. All around orchid for just about anyone at any level to grow. Has quite a pedigree too in the breeding. Im really finding a home with these Bc crosses. Everything I have with nodosa in it seems to be doing very well despite the heat they took all summer. Thanks you all...

Once I stopped trying to grow all the 'odd' orchids that a lot seem to want only bec no one can pronounce the names, I started doing much better

Oh I love the color it is so delicate looking and the spots are lovely. I'm like you I don't know how exotic I want to go. I don't want anything that is to touchy. I have to do good with what I have for now.

But I do want more phrags I so love them. And maybe just maybe I will some day try a besseae. I have heard they are a bit hard to grow but I have been in love with it sense the day I laid eye's on her.
