Laelia alaorii
I got this little guy about a year ago (today is 7 Sept. 2013) from a friend here on Orchidboard, mounted it on a small piece of hapu'u fern (think Hawaiian version of tree fern), put it in a 2" clay pot and then threw it in my orchidarium. It gets watered 3x per day with a MistKing misting system and gets 3 bulbs of t5 HO lighting, though I think I will be giving it a fourth bulb here soon. This is one of those few Laeliinae species which thrives in high moisture conditions, has doubled in size since I got it and is almost always in active growth. As you can see, the moss that has grown around the plant also enjoys similar conditions.

Lovely. That purple blush looks very cute on it's lip.

Thanks! It was tough to capture the color, but in real life the purple is slightly darker and more apparent than in the pic.
